SOLO SINGERS
The Philharmonic employs solo singers performing pop, classical and traditional songs. Solemn, cultural events of regional and city scale do not take place without the participation of our truly talented singers. Among them, we can note with great pride Honored cultural figures of the Republic of Kazakhstan, holders of the badge "Madeniyet salasyn uzdigi", laureates of international, republican competitions. They are masters of the art of singing. And they won the love and sympathy of the audience by giving them an unforgettable feeling of perception of Kazakh folk music, world-class classics, as well as pop genre at each concert.
DANCE GROUP
The dance group as part of the Philharmonic occupies a special place with its creativity. All dancers have a professional education, are graduates of educational institutions that train dance specialists. Despite the fact that the ensemble was newly created, in October 2022 it began its activities with a new composition, it has won admiration among the audience of Semirechye to date. The artistic director of the ensemble is the owner of the badge "Excellent student of the sphere of culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and the Order "Kurmet" Smagulova Gulmira Dubekovna.
Folklore and ethnographic ensemble "Zhetysu sazy"
The folklore and ethnographic ensemble "Zhetysu Sazy" was opened in 2022 in the newly created Philharmonic society of the Zhetysu region with the support of the akim of the region. The main task of the folklore and ethnographic ensemble is the promotion of folk music. Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Holder of the Order of "Kurmet" Tursynkhan Karakozhayeva was appointed Artistic Director. The creative team is currently working on the formation of its repertoire. In addition, concert costumes are sewn for the members of the ensemble. The instrumentalists of the collective, fully covered by folk instruments, in particular musical instruments: dombra, kobyz, zhetygen, adyrna, sazsyrnai, bass sherter, dauylpaz, syrnai (bayan), have high professional qualifications. As well as the performing style of the ensemble is distinguished by high culture, professionalism, artistic taste, excellent knowledge of traditional features of playing folk instruments.
Orchestra of folk instruments named after M.Tolebayev
Semirechye is the heart of the cultural life of Kazakhstan. It is a treasure trove of traditions and folklore, the world of song and kuya.
Orchestra of folk instruments named after .M. Tolebayeva is a unique artistic collective that has become the pride of the country. The orchestra was founded in 1990 at the Taldykorgan Regional Philharmonic. In 1993, in honor of the 80th anniversary of our countryman, the famous composer, People's Artist of the USSR Mukan Tolebayev, the orchestra was named after the composer by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
A great contribution to the creation and organization of the orchestra was made by the then head of the Regional Department of Culture E. Dalbagaev, Director of the regional Philharmonic T. Alshabekov, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, conductor of the Kazakh State Academic Folklore and Ethnographic Orchestra of Folk Instruments named after N. Tlendiev Zhamagat Temirgaliyev. Zh . was invited to the position of chief conductor and artistic director of the created orchestra . Temirgaliyev, as well as graduates of the Kurmangazy Almaty State Conservatory, the K.Bayseitov Music College, the Music Faculty of the I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu State University in Taldykorgan.. Later in 1997, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ali Alpysbayev headed the orchestra, and Culture Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerbolat Yerkenov was appointed chief conductor. The ranks of the collective were replenished with young, experienced and talented performers.
To date, the main conductor of the orchestra is Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, holder of the Order of "Kurmet", member of the Union of Composers of Kazakhstan, composer Alpysbayev Ali Demegenovich, artistic director, conductor - laureate of international competitions, talented musician Medet Esbergenov. Currently, the composition of the orchestra is extensive, it includes Honored Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, cultural figures of the Republic of Kazakhstan, excellent students of culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureates, diploma holders of international and republican competitions. The orchestra is a large creative team consisting of highly professional musicians. From the very beginning, the team has made a huge commitment to the innovative development of genuine professional creative searches. So, in 2007 he became the winner of the International festival "Serper" in Astana, in 2008 he became the laureate of the International Festival "Sofia Spring - 2008" in Bulgaria, was awarded the medal "Altyn". In Aktobe at the International Festival "Zhubanov koktemi - 2010" he became the winner of the I prize. In 2017, he took part in the International Festival of Orchestras of Folk Instruments dedicated to Kurmangazy Sagyrbayev, which was held in Atyrau.
At the invitation of the Talents of the World Foundation, he performed at the Svetlanov International Music Hall in Moscow. Within the framework of the Days of Culture of the Almaty region, a concert tour took place in Tashkent of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Antalya of Turkey, Osh of the Kyrgyz Republic, Seoul, the capital of South Korea and other countries. In 2006, he gave a concert at the Abai State Opera and Ballet Theater in Almaty, and in the same year he performed at the Congress Hall in Astana at a meeting with the participation of the Presidents of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Bulgaria.
The international competition of conductors "Altyn Tayaksha" and the competition of vocalists "Kesteli oramal", the Republican competition of young composers "Elge Arnau" are traditional events with the direct participation of the orchestra to identify and educate talented youth. In different years , the People 's Artist of the USSR Sh . Kazhygaliyev, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zh. Temirgaliyev, Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zh. Begendikov, laureate of the Republican Competition of Conductors named after N. Tlendiev D. Gylymov, laureate of the Republican Competition of conductors named after Sh. Kazhygalieva Zh . Bekenturov, chief conductor of the Andreev D. Khokhlov St. Petersburg Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments, accompanied by the orchestra performed on stage People's Artists of the USSR A. Dnishev, N. Usenbayeva, Honored Artists of the RK U. Kenzhebekov, K. Omarbayev, People's Artists of Kazakhstan N. Nusipzhanov, M. Kazturganova and other masters of arts.
In 2013, in connection with the 100th anniversary of the birth of the great composer Mukan Tolebayev, the orchestra began to perform concerts annually in honor of the great composer's birthday in the village of Lepsy, the birthplace of the great composer. This tradition continues to this day.
The Union of Composers of Kazakhstan is always in creative contact with the orchestra of folk instruments named after M. Tolebayev. The 30th anniversary of the orchestra in 2021 was held under the heading "Parade of Conductors", where outstanding conductors from foreign countries and domestic conductors took part.
The orchestra undoubtedly faces great peaks that popularize folk works, talented works of composers of Kazakhstan, the heritage of world and classical music, delight the audience and confidently pass on their cultural heritage to future generations.
Orchestra of pop and wind instruments
The orchestra of pop and wind instruments was established in 2007 at the Almaty Regional Philharmonic named after Suyunbai. Temirbolat Kasenov was appointed the first artistic director, conductor and musical director of the orchestra. In subsequent years, these positions were held by Viktor Pak and Kairat Halykov.
Since October 2022, the orchestra team continues to work with the Philharmonic Society of the Zhetysu region. The artistic director of the collective is the owner of the badge "Enbek danky" of the branch professional union of workers of culture, sports, tourism and information of Kazakhstan Daniyar Zhakiyanov. Conductors Kairat Halykov and talented musician Ilya Bashkatov.
The orchestra is one of the leading and unique collectives of the Philharmonic. All the musicians of the orchestra have a professional education, masterfully perform works by modern authors and foreign classics. In addition to the classical repertoire of the brass orchestra, the collective performs works by national composers of the republic and experiments in modern directions of pop and jazz music. A characteristic feature of the repertoire is a fusion of musical directions bearing a national character, based on the best traditions of the brass performing school of Kazakhstan.
In order to improve the professional level of the orchestra, the collective worked closely with well-known conductors in the field of wind music of the country: master classes of such maestros as Nurlan Baikozov, Yakov Khan were specially invited and conducted.
Since its creation, the orchestra has been in great demand. Takes an active part in large-scale events held on the territory of the republic and the region. In particular, he actively participated and performed at the highest level in such events as the cultural event dedicated to the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate in Taraz, the agricultural fair of the Almaty region in Astana, the opening of the Zhetysu Park in Astana, etc. In addition, they participate in music festivals that take place in our country by special invitation and win the title of diploma holder, laureate: in April 2018, he was awarded a special diploma for performing at the highest level at the Jazz Spring Festival in Petropavlovsk, at an event dedicated to the Day of the city of Tekeli, the orchestra was awarded the title of laureate at the musical Mono Cities Festival (2018).
In addition, the orchestra participated in a number of TV projects. In particular, in 2017, a solo concert of the orchestra was filmed and broadcast in the program "Musical Performance" of the "National TV Channel Kazakhstan". Also, the orchestra team has been a regular participant in the project "Songs and Years" for several years in a row, which takes place in the Palace of the Republic with the participation of all the pop stars of the country.
In the direction of expanding the repertoire, the orchestra team works tirelessly. Currently, there are more than 200 works and songs. In order to introduce the Kazakh national color, a project is being optimally implemented to include such instruments as dombra, kobyz in the orchestra.
In November 2022, the orchestra took part in the international festival "Jazz Beau Monde" in Kostanay, where it performed and was awarded the title of laureate.
Today the orchestra works in close creative contact with such stars of art as Zhubanysh Zheksenuly, Kurmash Mahan, the vocal ensemble "Kazyna".
