Due to the political changes that have taken place in our country, in particular, on March 16, 2022, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. In his Message to the People of Kazakhstan, Tokayev proposed reorganizing the three regions united with other regions in 1990, and on May 4, 2022, he signed a decree on certain issues of the administrative-territorial structure of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It talks about the creation of three new areas. One of the three newly created regions is the Zhetisu region.
The Philharmonic was established by the Decree of the Akimat of the region dated September 8, 2022 No. 35 "On the formation of organizations under the jurisdiction of the state institution "Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Zhetisu region". By Resolution No. 208 of July 5, 2023, the Philharmonic Orchestra was named after People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, singer, composer Danesh Rakishev.
The name of the singer, composer Danesh Rakishev is widely known throughout the country. Known during his lifetime as "Zhetisu bulbuly", he became the favorite artist of all time. In addition, his musical activity has played a major role in popularizing the culture and art of the entire Kazakh nation, including the fertile land of Zhetysu. A person who has contributed to the artistic heritage of a country becomes the heritage of the nation. Danesh Rakishev himself and his songs are today the heritage of the people, which we are proud of!
The creative part of the Philharmonic has been replenished with collectives, artists of a high level of professional skill, and today they serve the development of national culture, the growth of musical and aesthetic education of the region's population. In a short time, the names of philharmonic artists have gained wide recognition not only in Semirechye, but also in the republic and even in countries far and near abroad. The result of tireless and fruitful work is that in 2024, the regional akimat awarded the Philharmonic Hall the title of "Best Cultural Institution" and awarded a car as part of the celebration of "Workers of Culture and Art."
The fertile land of Zhetisu has a rich history, a famous art school, and a traditional culture unique to it. Zhetisu Land is the heart of Kazakhstan's cultural life, a treasure of traditions and folklore, the world of song and kuya. And there is no doubt that the Philharmonic artists continue these traditions.
And the artists not only continue the path of outstanding personalities like Kapez, Sadykozha, Pshan, Kenen, Sauytbek, Karga, Asimkhan, Danesh, who laid and shaped the foundations of art and culture in our region and have become great teachers of Kazakh art today, they are masters of their craft, in whose hearts there is unconditional love for the culture of the nation.
Honored Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, cultural workers, excellent cultural workers, laureates of the Union of Youth of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureates of international and national competitions, holders of the Order of "Kurmet", the medal "Yeren Yenbegi ushin", the badge "Yenbek danky", who have made a great contribution to the development of national art, work among us. A large number of artists were awarded commemorative medals dedicated to the 10th, 20th, 25th, and 30th anniversaries of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
