Wathan Akzhol was born on September 9, 1996 in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. In 2003, he and his family emigrated to Kazakhstan. He graduated from Matai Bayisov Secondary School, Eskeldinsky district of Zhetysu region, N. Aldabergenov rural district. In 2018, he entered the Koksu Agricultural College, located in the village of Zhastar in the Eskeldinsky district, from which he graduated in 2021 with a degree in Computer Engineering and Software. Since March 2026, he has been working as a music editor at the Danesh Rakishev Philharmonic of the Zhetysu region.
Wathan Akzhol is a poet who began his career by writing poetry, and today is the author of the lyrics of 100 songs. The song "Task. Heroic deed. Honor", born from his pen, became the anthem of the Kazakh police and for which he was awarded the award of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Akzhol Wathan replenishes his creative path with new works and is currently contributing to the Kazakh song art.
