On September 2, 2023, the 100th anniversary of the outstanding writer Kemel Tokayev was celebrated in the Karatal district of the Zhetisu region. As part of the festive event, Kazakh kuresi competitions were held, where the World Cup, baiga and a number of national games were played.In the yurts, the audience was treated to lunch, concert programs were presented with the participation of the country's art stars and artists of the Danesh Rakishev Philharmonic Society of the Zhetisu region. Our artists performed on the main stage, the hippodrome and the yurt. The performances of the folklore and ethnographic ensemble of the Philharmonic, dancers, the trio "Dombyra Live", soloists of pop, classical genres and traditional singers did not leave the audience indifferent to this event and truly gave the audience a festive atmosphere.
