The I. Zhansugurov Palace of Culture hosted the "Shertpe kuy" evening with the participation of the M. Tolebayev Orchestra of Kazakh Folk Instruments.
Shertpe kui refers to a type of kui for dombra, which are performed in a peculiar condition that has been preserved in the past, but has a very developed specificity. The melody is mostly rich in lyrical feelings, which are dominated by philosophical- contemplative and soulful mystery. Such famous kuishi composers as Tattimbet, Sugir, Korkyt, Kozheke, Ashimtai, N.Tlendiev, K. Akhmedyarov, S. Turisbekov, J. Temirgaliev, A. Alpysbayev are not only the authors of exemplary kuis of this kind, but also a kind of link between generations. Talented dombrists: Asen Smile, Asanali Baytogaev, Darkhan Sabyrov, Ainur Nurbergenova, Talgat Orazaev masterfully performed the works of the above-mentioned composers, and the audience was satisfied. The evening was held at an impressively high level.
